महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-247, verse-37

व्यास उवाच ।
एतच्छ्रुत्वा तु मौद्गल्यो वाक्यं विममृशे धिया ।
विमृश्य च मुनिश्रेष्ठो देवदूतमुवाच ह ॥३७॥
37. vyāsa uvāca ,
etacchrutvā tu maudgalyo vākyaṁ vimamṛśe dhiyā ,
vimṛśya ca muniśreṣṭho devadūtamuvāca ha.
37. vyāsa uvāca etat śrutvā tu maudgalyaḥ vākyam vimamṛśe
dhiyā vimṛśya ca muniśreṣṭhaḥ devadūtam uvāca ha
37. Vyasa said: Having heard this, Mudgalya indeed reflected on the words with his intellect. And having reflected, that foremost sage then spoke to the divine messenger.
