महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-247, verse-2

उपरिष्टादसौ लोको योऽयं स्वरिति संज्ञितः ।
ऊर्ध्वगः सत्पथः शश्वद्देवयानचरो मुने ॥२॥
2. upariṣṭādasau loko yo'yaṁ svariti saṁjñitaḥ ,
ūrdhvagaḥ satpathaḥ śaśvaddevayānacaro mune.
2. upariṣṭāt asau lokaḥ yaḥ ayam svaḥ iti saṃjñitaḥ
ūrdhvagaḥ satpathaḥ śaśvat devayānacaraḥ mune
2. O sage, that world (lokaḥ) above, which is known as 'heaven' (svar), is the upward-leading, eternal, and righteous path (satpathaḥ) traversed by those on the path of the gods (devayāna).
