महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-45, verse-40

अन्तःपुराणां च तदा महानार्तस्वरोऽभवत् ।
पौराणां च महाराज श्रुत्वा राज्ञस्तदा गतिम् ॥४०॥
40. antaḥpurāṇāṁ ca tadā mahānārtasvaro'bhavat ,
paurāṇāṁ ca mahārāja śrutvā rājñastadā gatim.

paurāṇām ca mahārāja śrutvā rājñaḥ tadā gatim
40. O great king, then a great cry of distress arose among the women of the inner apartments and among the citizens, when they heard the king's fate at that time.
