महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-45, verse-17

संजयो नृपतेर्नेता समेषु विषमेषु च ।
गान्धार्यास्तु पृथा राजंश्चक्षुरासीदनिन्दिता ॥१७॥
17. saṁjayo nṛpaternetā sameṣu viṣameṣu ca ,
gāndhāryāstu pṛthā rājaṁścakṣurāsīdaninditā.

gāndhāryāḥ tu pṛthā rājan cakṣuḥ āsīt aninditā

17. Sanjaya was the king's guide in both favorable and difficult circumstances. But Pṛthā, O King, was the faultless eye of Gāndhārī.
