महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-77, verse-27

पितृशोकाभिसंतप्तो विषादार्तोऽस्य वै पिता ।
पञ्चत्वमगमद्वीर यथा तन्मे निबोध ह ॥२७॥
27. pitṛśokābhisaṁtapto viṣādārto'sya vai pitā ,
pañcatvamagamadvīra yathā tanme nibodha ha.
27. pitṛśoka-abhisantaptaḥ viṣāda-ārtaḥ asya vai pitā
pañcatvam agamat vīra yathā tat me nibodha ha
27. vīra asya pitā pitṛśoka-abhisantaptaḥ viṣāda-ārtaḥ
vai pañcatvam agamat tat yathā me ha nibodha
27. O hero, this child's father (Abhimanyu), afflicted by sorrow for his own father (whom he believed to be deceased) and greatly distressed, indeed met his demise. Listen to me now as to how that occurred.
