महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-51, verse-35

निषादा ऊचुः ।
दर्शनं कथनं चैव सहास्माभिः कृतं मुने ।
सतां सप्तपदं मित्रं प्रसादं नः कुरु प्रभो ॥३५॥
35. niṣādā ūcuḥ ,
darśanaṁ kathanaṁ caiva sahāsmābhiḥ kṛtaṁ mune ,
satāṁ saptapadaṁ mitraṁ prasādaṁ naḥ kuru prabho.
35. niṣādāḥ ūcuḥ darśanam kathanam ca eva saha asmābhiḥ kṛtam
mune satām saptapadam mitram prasādam naḥ kuru prabho
35. The Niṣādas said: 'O sage (muni), we have indeed seen you and spoken with you. For the righteous, a friendship is formed by seven steps together. O lord, please bestow your grace upon us.'
