महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-51, verse-11

च्यवन उवाच ।
राजन्नार्हाम्यहं कोटिं भूयो वापि महाद्युते ।
सदृशं दीयतां मूल्यं ब्राह्मणैः सह चिन्तय ॥११॥
11. cyavana uvāca ,
rājannārhāmyahaṁ koṭiṁ bhūyo vāpi mahādyute ,
sadṛśaṁ dīyatāṁ mūlyaṁ brāhmaṇaiḥ saha cintaya.
11. cyavanaḥ uvāca rājan na arhāmi aham koṭim bhūyaḥ vā api
mahādyute sadṛśam dīyatām mūlyam brāhmaṇaiḥ saha cintaya
11. cyavanaḥ uvāca rājan,
mahādyute,
aham koṭim vā bhūyaḥ api na arhāmi.
brāhmaṇaiḥ saha cintaya,
sadṛśam mūlyam dīyatām.
11. Cyavana said: 'O glorious king, I am not worthy of a koti, nor even more. Let a suitable value be given, after deliberating with the brahmins.'
