महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-51, verse-15

तत्र त्वन्यो वनचरः कश्चिन्मूलफलाशनः ।
नहुषस्य समीपस्थो गविजातोऽभवन्मुनिः ॥१५॥
15. tatra tvanyo vanacaraḥ kaścinmūlaphalāśanaḥ ,
nahuṣasya samīpastho gavijāto'bhavanmuniḥ.

15. However, there was another forest-dwelling individual, a certain sage (muni) who sustained himself on roots and fruits. He was born from a cow and was residing near Nahuṣa.
