महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-151, verse-29

कीर्तयानो नरो ह्येतान्मुच्यते सर्वकिल्बिषैः ।
स्तुवंश्च प्रतिनन्दंश्च मुच्यते सर्वतो भयात् ।
सर्वसंकरपापेभ्यो देवतास्तवनन्दकः ॥२९॥
29. kīrtayāno naro hyetānmucyate sarvakilbiṣaiḥ ,
stuvaṁśca pratinandaṁśca mucyate sarvato bhayāt ,
sarvasaṁkarapāpebhyo devatāstavanandakaḥ.
29. kīrtayānaḥ naraḥ hi etān mucyate
sarvakilbiṣaiḥ stuvaṃḥ ca pratinandaṃḥ
ca mucyate sarvataḥ bhayāt
sarvasaṃkarapāpebhyaḥ devatā stavānandakaḥ
29. etān kīrtayānaḥ naraḥ hi sarvakilbiṣaiḥ

stavānandakaḥ sarvasaṃkarapāpebhyaḥ mucyate
29. A person who praises these (deities) is indeed freed from all sins. And one who praises and rejoices (in them) is liberated from every fear. A person who delights in the praise of deities is (also freed) from all sins that arise from defilement.
