महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-15, verse-23

प्रजानां पतयः सर्वे सरितः पन्नगा नगाः ।
देवानां मातरः सर्वा देवपत्न्यः सकन्यकाः ॥२३॥
23. prajānāṁ patayaḥ sarve saritaḥ pannagā nagāḥ ,
devānāṁ mātaraḥ sarvā devapatnyaḥ sakanyakāḥ.
