महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-83, verse-52

जिज्ञासुरिह संप्राप्तस्तवाहं राजसत्तम ।
तस्य मे रोचसे राजन्क्षुधितस्येव भोजनम् ॥५२॥
52. jijñāsuriha saṁprāptastavāhaṁ rājasattama ,
tasya me rocase rājankṣudhitasyeva bhojanam.
52. jijñāsuḥ iha samprāptaḥ tava aham rājasattama
tasya me rocase rājan kṣudhitasya iva bhojanam
52. rājasattama! aham iha tava jijñāsuḥ samprāptaḥ.
rājan! kṣudhitasya bhojanam iva,
tasya me tvam rocase.
52. O best of kings, I have come here as one eager to know about you. O king, you are as pleasing to me as food to a hungry person.
