42.
And formerly, the great sage (maharṣi) Bharadvāja, having arrived at the celestial Ganges (ākāśagaṅgā), while performing ablutions, was approached by Viṣṇu, who was traversing his three strides. That (Viṣṇu), struck on the chest by Bharadvāja with a hand holding water, became one with an auspicious mark on his chest.
