महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-254, verse-16

यदा चायं न बिभेति यदा चास्मान्न बिभ्यति ।
यदा नेच्छति न द्वेष्टि तदा सिध्यति वै द्विजः ॥१६॥

16. yadā cāyaṁ na bibheti yadā cāsmānna bibhyati ,
yadā necchati na dveṣṭi tadā sidhyati vai dvijaḥ.

16. When a person neither fears anyone nor is feared by anyone; and when he neither desires nor hates, then that twice-born (dvija) indeed achieves perfection.
