महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-11, chapter-8, verse-9

तदिदं व्यसनं प्राप्तं मया भाग्यविपर्ययात् ।
तच्चैवाहं करिष्यामि अद्यैव द्विजसत्तम ॥९॥
9. tadidaṁ vyasanaṁ prāptaṁ mayā bhāgyaviparyayāt ,
taccaivāhaṁ kariṣyāmi adyaiva dvijasattama.
9. tat idam vyasanam prāptam mayā bhāgyaviparyayāt
tat ca eva aham kariṣyāmi adya eva dvijasattama
9. mayā bhāgyaviparyayāt tat idam vyasanam prāptam,
ca dvijasattama aham tat eva adya eva kariṣyāmi
9. This very calamity has befallen me due to a reversal of fortune. And indeed, O best among the twice-born (dvija), I shall accomplish that very thing today.
