महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-11, chapter-8, verse-10

इत्युक्त्वा तु महात्मानं पितरं ब्रह्मवित्तमम् ।
धृतराष्ट्रोऽभवन्मूढः शोकं च परमं गतः ।
अभूच्च तूष्णीं राजासौ ध्यायमानो महीपते ॥१०॥
10. ityuktvā tu mahātmānaṁ pitaraṁ brahmavittamam ,
dhṛtarāṣṭro'bhavanmūḍhaḥ śokaṁ ca paramaṁ gataḥ ,
abhūcca tūṣṇīṁ rājāsau dhyāyamāno mahīpate.
10. iti uktvā tu mahātmānam pitaram
brahmavittamam dhṛtarāṣṭraḥ abhavat mūḍhaḥ
śokam ca paramam gataḥ abhūt ca
tūṣṇīm rājā asau dhyāyamānaḥ mahīpate

10. Having spoken thus to his great-souled father, the foremost knower of Brahman (brahman), Dhṛtarāṣṭra became bewildered and was overcome by immense sorrow (śoka). That king then fell silent, lost in contemplation, O ruler of the earth (mahīpate).
