महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-199, verse-38

वणिजश्चाभ्ययुस्तत्र देशे दिग्भ्यो धनार्थिनः ।
सर्वशिल्पविदश्चैव वासायाभ्यागमंस्तदा ॥३८॥
38. vaṇijaścābhyayustatra deśe digbhyo dhanārthinaḥ ,
sarvaśilpavidaścaiva vāsāyābhyāgamaṁstadā.
38. vaṇijaḥ ca abhyayuḥ tatra deśe digbhyaḥ dhana-arthinaḥ
| sarvaśilpa-vidaḥ ca eva vāsāya abhyāgaman tadā
38. Merchants seeking wealth came there to that region from all directions. Similarly, experts in all crafts also arrived then to reside.
