योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-22, verse-22

इतिहासं महाश्चर्यमन्यं रामायणामिधम् ।
ग्रन्थलक्षप्रमाणं च ज्ञानशास्त्रं स्मराम्यहम् ॥ २२ ॥

22. I remember another greatly wonderful epic (itihāsa) named Rāmāyaṇa, which is a scripture of knowledge (jñāna) measuring a hundred thousand verses.
