परिपूर्णार्णवप्रख्या न वा गोचरमेति नः ।
नोपमानमुपादत्ते नानुधावति रञ्जनम् ॥ ४८ ॥

nopamānamupādatte nānudhāvati rañjanam 48

48. paripūrṇārṇavaprakhyā na vā gocaram eti naḥ |
na upamānam upādatte na anudhāvati rañjanam ||

48. This state, which resembles a perfectly full ocean, does not come within our experience, nor does it accept any comparison, nor does it pursue any external delight or attachment.

48. מצב זה, הדומה לאוקיינוס שעלה על גדותיו, אינו נתפס בחושינו, אינו ניתנת להשוואה לשום דבר, ואינו נמשך אחר פיתויי ההנאה.
