योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-113, verse-44

अनयोपहते चित्ते दीर्घकालमिवाकुलैः ।
जनैराकल्प्यते दीर्घसंसारस्वप्नविभ्रमः ॥ ४४ ॥
anayopahate citte dīrghakālamivākulaiḥ ,
janairākalpyate dīrghasaṃsārasvapnavibhramaḥ 44
44. anayā upahate citte dīrghakālam iva ākulaiḥ
janaiḥ ākalpyate dīrgha-saṃsāra-svapna-vibhramaḥ
44. anayā upahate citte dīrghakālam iva ākulaiḥ janaiḥ dīrgha-saṃsāra-svapna-vibhramaḥ ākalpyate.
44. When the mind (citta) is afflicted by this (delusion), people, distressed as if for a long time, conceive of the long, dream-like illusion of saṃsāra (the cycle of birth and death).
