वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-36, verse-34

ततस्तु हृततेजौजा महर्षिवचनौजसा ।
एषो श्रमाणि नात्येति मृदुभावगतश्चरन् ॥३४॥
34. tatastu hṛtatejaujā maharṣivacanaujasā ,
eṣo śramāṇi nātyeti mṛdubhāvagataścaran.

eṣaḥ śramāṇi na atyeti mṛdubhāvakataḥ caran

34. Then, by the power of the great sages' words, he whose vigor and strength had been taken away, having entered a state of feebleness, was unable to overcome (any) exertions.
