मार्ताण्डस्त्वब्रवीत्तत्र भगवांस्तिमिरापहः ।
तेजसो ऽस्य मदीयस्य ददामि शतिकां कलाम् ॥१३॥

13. mārtāṇḍastvabravīttatra bhagavāṃstimirāpahaḥ ,
tejaso'sya madīyasya dadāmi śatikāṃ kalām.

13. Thereupon, the revered Lord Mārtaṇḍa, the dispeller of darkness, declared: 'I bestow upon him one hundredth part of my own splendor.'
