यदा केषरिणा त्वेष वायुना साञ्जनेन च ।
प्रतिषिद्धो ऽपि मर्यादां लङ्घयत्येव वानरः ॥३१॥

31. yadā keṣariṇā tveṣa vāyunā sāñjanena ca ,
pratiṣiddho'pi maryādāṃ laṅghayatyeva vānaraḥ.

pratiṣiddhaḥ api maryādāṃ laṅghayati eva vānaraḥ

31. When this monkey, though forbidden by Keśarin and by Vāyu (the wind god) who is accompanied by Añjanā, nonetheless crosses the proper boundaries (maryādā).
