सर्वेषां ब्रह्मदण्डानामवध्यो ऽयं भविष्यति ।
दीर्घायुश्च महात्मा च इति ब्रह्माब्रवीद्वचः ॥१९॥

19. sarveṣāṃ brahmadaṇḍānāmavadhyo'yaṃ bhaviṣyati ,
dīrghāyuśca mahātmā ca iti brahmābravīdvacaḥ.

19. "This one will be invulnerable to all curses (brahma-daṇḍa) from brahmins; he will also be long-lived and great-souled (mahā-ātman)." Thus spoke Brahmā.
