वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-36, verse-33

बाधसे यत् समाश्रित्य बलमस्मान्प्लवंगम ।
तद्दीर्घकालं वेत्तासि नास्माकं शापमोहितः ॥३३॥
33. bādhase yat samāśritya balamasmānplavaṃgama ,
taddīrghakālaṃ vettāsi nāsmākaṃ śāpamohitaḥ.

tat dīrghakālam vettāsi na asmākam śāpamohitaḥ

33. O monkey, because you harass us by relying on your strength, you will experience the consequence of that for a long time. You, deluded by a curse, are no longer within our power (to help).
