वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-26, verse-17

मद्विशिष्टः पुमान् को ऽन्यः शक्रो विष्णुरथाश्विनौ ।
मामतीत्य हि यस्य त्वं यासि भीरु न शोभनम् ॥१७॥
17. madviśiṣṭaḥ pumān ko'nyaḥ śakro viṣṇurathāśvinau ,
māmatītya hi yasya tvaṃ yāsi bhīru na śobhanam.

mām atītya hi yasya tvam yāsi bhīru na śobhanam

17. What other man is superior to me? Is it Indra, Vishnu, or the Ashvins? Indeed, O timid one, it is not proper that you bypass me and go to someone else.
