वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-4, chapter-8, verse-14

तावासीनौ ततो दृष्ट्वा हनूमानपि लक्ष्मणम् ।
सालशाखां समुत्पाट्य विनीतमुपवेशयत् ॥१४॥
14. tāvāsīnau tato dṛṣṭvā hanūmānapi lakṣmaṇam ,
sālaśākhāṃ samutpāṭya vinītamupaveśayat.

14. Then, seeing them both seated, Hanuman respectfully uprooted a Sāla tree branch and made Lakshmana sit upon it.
