वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-4, chapter-8, verse-10

तत्तथेत्यब्रवीद् रामः सुग्रीवं प्रियवादिनम् ।
लक्ष्मणस्याग्रतो लक्ष्म्या वासवस्येव धीमतः ॥१०॥
10. tattathetyabravīd rāmaḥ sugrīvaṃ priyavādinam ,
lakṣmaṇasyāgrato lakṣmyā vāsavasyeva dhīmataḥ.
10. tat tathā iti abravīt rāmaḥ sugrīvam priyavādinam
lakṣmaṇasya agrataḥ lakṣmyā vāsavasya iva dhīmataḥ
10. rāmaḥ dhīmataḥ vāsavasya lakṣmyā iva lakṣmaṇasya
agrataḥ priyavādinam sugrīvam tat tathā iti abravīt
10. In front of Lakṣmaṇa, Rāma, radiant like the intelligent Vasava (Indra), replied, "So be it," to Sugrīva, who spoke with affection.
