तत्त्रिकोणगते वापि पिता पितृसमोऽपि वा ।
मरणं तस्य जानीयात् पीडां वा महतीं वदेत् ॥९॥

9. tattrikoṇagate vāpi pitā pitṛsamo'pi vā .

Or, when it (Saturn) is situated in a trine (trikoṇa) to that (same) constellation, one should predict either the death of the father or a father-like person, or declare great affliction (pīḍā) for them.
