The demise of the father (pitṛkṣaya) occurs during an inauspicious planetary period (daśākāla) of the lord of the fourth house (sukheśvara) from the ascendant (lagna). Wise astrologers (vicakṣaṇaiḥ) should consider that this does not happen during a favorable planetary period (anukūladaśākāle).
