बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-30, verse-8

उपारूढाद् द्वितीयं च नीचांशे नीचखेटयुक् ।
क्रूरग्रहसमायुक्तं जातको दारहा भवेत् ॥८॥
8. upārūḍhād dvitīyaṃ ca nīcāṃśe nīcakheṭayuk .

8. If the second house from the Upapada (Upārūḍha Lagna) is in a debilitated (nīca) sub-division (aṃśa), conjoined with planets in debilitation (nīcakheṭa), and further associated with cruel (malefic) planets (krūragraha), then the native (jātaka) will experience loss of wife (dārahā).
