If the second house from the Upapada (Upārūḍha Lagna) is in a debilitated (nīca) sub-division (aṃśa), conjoined with planets in debilitation (nīcakheṭa), and further associated with cruel (malefic) planets (krūragraha), then the native (jātaka) will experience loss of wife (dārahā).
