बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-30, verse-23

लग्नात् पदादुपारूढाद् यो राशिः सप्तमो द्विज ।
तस्मात् तत्स्वामिनः खेटात् तदंशाच्च द्विजोत्तम ॥२३॥
23. lagnāt padādupārūḍhād yo rāśiḥ saptamo dvija .
tasmāt tatsvāminaḥ kheṭāt tadaṃśācca dvijottama.
23. lagnāt padāt upārūḍhāt yaḥ rāśiḥ saptamaḥ dvija
tasmāt tatsvāminaḥ kheṭāt tadaṃśāt ca dvijottama
23. O twice-born (dvija), consider the sign that is the seventh from the Ascendant (lagna), or from the Pada, or from the Upapada. O best among the twice-born (dvijottama), one should also examine that seventh sign itself, its planetary lord, and its Navāṃśa (aṃśa) position.
