मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-97, verse-39

ज्ञातिश्रेष्ठो गुणैर्युक्तो दक्षसावर्णिके श्रुते ।
निशातयत्यरिबलं रौच्यं श्रुत्वा नरोत्तम ॥३९॥
39. jñātiśreṣṭho guṇairyukto dakṣasāvarṇike śrute .
niśātayatyaribalaṃ raucyaṃ śrutvā narottama.
39. jñātiśreṣṭhaḥ guṇaiḥ yuktaḥ dakṣasāvarṇike śrute
niśātayati aribalam raucyam śrutvā narottama
39. O best among men, one who is pre-eminent among his kinsmen and endowed with virtues, when he hears about [the Manus] Dakṣasāvarṇi and Raucya, destroys the enemy's strength.
