मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-97, verse-1

मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
एवं स्तुतस्ततस्तेन भगवान्हव्यवाहनः ।
ज्वालामालावृततनुस्तस्यासीदग्रतो मुने ॥१॥
1. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
evaṃ stutastatastena bhagavānhavyavāhanaḥ .
jvālāmālāvṛtatanustasyāsīdagrato mune.
1. mārkaṇḍeyaḥ uvāca evam stutaḥ tataḥ tena bhagavān
havyavāhanaḥ jvālāmālā āvṛtatanuḥ tasya āsīt agrataḥ mune
1. Mārkaṇḍeya said: Thus praised by him, the venerable Agni (havyavāhana), whose body was enveloped in a garland of flames, appeared before him, O sage (muni).
