महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-65, verse-6

प्रभूतपद्मोत्पलमत्स्यकच्छपौ महाह्रदौ पक्षिगणानुनादितौ ।
सुसंनिकृष्टावनिलोद्धतौ यथा तथा रथौ तौ ध्वजिनौ समीयतुः ॥६॥
6. prabhūtapadmotpalamatsyakacchapau; mahāhradau pakṣigaṇānunāditau ,
susaṁnikṛṣṭāvaniloddhatau yathā; tathā rathau tau dhvajinau samīyatuḥ.

6. Just as two great lakes, abundant with lotuses, water lilies, fish, and tortoises, resounding with flocks of birds, and agitated by the wind, draw very close, so did those two banner-bearing chariots approach each other.
