Urged by Bhīma and Janārdana (Kṛṣṇa), and reflecting upon his own intrinsic nature (ātman) and courage (sattvam), and having understood the purpose of the great soul's (Kṛṣṇa's) arrival, he then spoke to Keśava (Kṛṣṇa) thus.
