महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-65, verse-4

प्रवृद्धशृङ्गद्रुमवीरुदोषधी प्रवृद्धनानाविधपर्वतौकसौ ।
यथाचलौ वा गलितौ महाबलौ तथा महास्त्रैरितरेतरं घ्नतः ॥४॥
4. pravṛddhaśṛṅgadrumavīrudoṣadhī; pravṛddhanānāvidhaparvataukasau ,
yathācalau vā galitau mahābalau; tathā mahāstrairitaretaraṁ ghnataḥ.

pravṛddha-nānā-vidha-parvata-okasau
yathā acalau vā galitau mahābalau
tathā mahāstraiḥ itaretaram ghnatas
4. yathā pravṛddha-śṛṅga-druma-vīrud-oṣadhī pravṛddha-nānā-vidha-parvata-okasau mahābalau galitau vā acalau,

4. Just as two mighty mountains, with their peaks, trees, creepers, and herbs having grown abundantly, and housing numerous kinds of mountain dwellers, might be dislodged and collide, similarly, they (the two heroes) struck each other with great weapons.
