Then, Adhiratha's son (Karna) pierced Dhananjaya (Arjuna), who was comparable to the lord of the gods (Indra), with three arrows. And desiring to kill the immutable (acyuta) one (Krishna), he then launched five arrows that were like flaming snakes.
