महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-59, verse-41

ताञ्शोणितपरिक्लिन्नान्विषमस्थाञ्शरातुरान् ।
मा भैष्टेत्यब्रवीत्कर्णो ह्यभितो मामितेति च ॥४१॥
41. tāñśoṇitapariklinnānviṣamasthāñśarāturān ,
mā bhaiṣṭetyabravītkarṇo hyabhito māmiteti ca.

41. To those who were drenched in blood, in a precarious situation, and tormented by arrows, Karna said, "Do not fear! I am here, surrounding you on all sides."
