महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-59, verse-26

कांस्यायसतनुत्रांस्तान्नरानश्वांश्च पाण्डवः ।
पोथयामास गदया सशब्दं तेऽपतन्हताः ॥२६॥
26. kāṁsyāyasatanutrāṁstānnarānaśvāṁśca pāṇḍavaḥ ,
pothayāmāsa gadayā saśabdaṁ te'patanhatāḥ.

| pothayām āsa gadayā saśabdam te apatan hatāḥ

26. The Pāṇḍava (Bhīma) struck down with his mace, making a loud sound, those men and horses who were clad in bronze and iron armors. They fell, slain.
