महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-59, verse-3

ततः कर्णरथं यान्तमरीन्घ्नन्तं धनंजयम् ।
बाणवर्षैरभिघ्नन्तः संशप्तकरथा ययुः ॥३॥
3. tataḥ karṇarathaṁ yāntamarīnghnantaṁ dhanaṁjayam ,
bāṇavarṣairabhighnantaḥ saṁśaptakarathā yayuḥ.

3. Then, the Saṃśaptaka warriors, striking with showers of arrows, advanced towards Karna's chariot, attacking Dhananjaya, who was himself proceeding there and slaying enemies.
