महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-163, verse-9

छिद्रेषु तेषु तं बाणैर्माद्रीपुत्रोऽभ्यवाकिरत् ।
परीप्संस्त्वत्सुतं कर्णस्तदन्तरमवापतत् ॥९॥
9. chidreṣu teṣu taṁ bāṇairmādrīputro'bhyavākirat ,
parīpsaṁstvatsutaṁ karṇastadantaramavāpatat.
