महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-163, verse-10

वृकोदरस्ततः कर्णं त्रिभिर्भल्लैः समाहितैः ।
आकर्णपूर्णैरभ्यघ्नन्बाह्वोरुरसि चानदत् ॥१०॥
10. vṛkodarastataḥ karṇaṁ tribhirbhallaiḥ samāhitaiḥ ,
ākarṇapūrṇairabhyaghnanbāhvorurasi cānadat.

10. Then Vṛkodara (Bhima) struck Karna with three well-aimed arrows, drawn back to the ear, on his arms and on his chest, and he roared.
