महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-112, verse-43

विलपंश्च बहु क्षत्ता शमं नालभत त्वयि ।
सपुत्रो भरतश्रेष्ठ तस्य भुङ्क्ष्व फलोदयम् ।
हतो विकर्णो राजेन्द्र चित्रसेनश्च वीर्यवान् ॥४३॥
43. vilapaṁśca bahu kṣattā śamaṁ nālabhata tvayi ,
saputro bharataśreṣṭha tasya bhuṅkṣva phalodayam ,
hato vikarṇo rājendra citrasenaśca vīryavān.
43. vilapan ca bahu kṣattā śamam na
alabhat tvayi sa-putraḥ bharataśreṣṭha
tasya bhuṅkṣva phalodayam hataḥ
vikarṇaḥ rājendra citrasenaḥ ca vīryavān
43. ca kṣattā bahu vilapan tvayi śamam na alabhat.

43. And Vidura, lamenting greatly, could not obtain peace from you. O best of the Bhāratas, you, along with your sons, must now experience the unfolding of that consequence. Vikarṇa has been slain, O king, and the powerful Citrasena too.
