महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-112, verse-12

ततो विधम्याधिरथेः शरजालानि पाण्डवः ।
विव्याध कर्णं विंशत्या पुनरन्यैः शितैः शरैः ॥१२॥
12. tato vidhamyādhiratheḥ śarajālāni pāṇḍavaḥ ,
vivyādha karṇaṁ viṁśatyā punaranyaiḥ śitaiḥ śaraiḥ.

vivyādha karṇaṃ viṃśatyā punaḥ anyaiḥ śitaiḥ śaraiḥ
12. pāṇḍavaḥ tataḥ adhiratheḥ śarajālāni vidhamya

12. Then Arjuna (Pāṇḍava), having dispersed the multitude of arrows from Karna (Adhiratha's son), struck Karna with twenty, and then again with other sharp arrows.
