यथैव हि शरैः पार्थः सूतपुत्रेण छादितः ।
तथैव कर्णं समरे छादयामास पाण्डवः ॥१३॥

13. Just as Arjuna (Pārtha) was indeed covered by the arrows of Karna (sūtaputra), similarly Arjuna (Pāṇḍava) overwhelmed Karna in battle.
