महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-16, verse-40

श्वेतोष्णीषं श्वेतहयं श्वेतवर्माणमच्युतम् ।
अपश्याम महाराज भीष्मं चन्द्रमिवोदितम् ॥४०॥
40. śvetoṣṇīṣaṁ śvetahayaṁ śvetavarmāṇamacyutam ,
apaśyāma mahārāja bhīṣmaṁ candramivoditam.

40. O great King (Mahārāja), we saw Bhīṣma, wearing a white turban, with white horses, clad in white armor, steadfast and unfailing (acyuta), shining like the risen moon.
