महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-16, verse-35

दशैते पुरुषव्याघ्राः शूराः परिघबाहवः ।
अक्षौहिणीनां पतयो यज्वानो भूरिदक्षिणाः ॥३५॥
35. daśaite puruṣavyāghrāḥ śūrāḥ parighabāhavaḥ ,
akṣauhiṇīnāṁ patayo yajvāno bhūridakṣiṇāḥ.

35. These ten tiger-like men (puruṣavyāghrāḥ) are brave warriors whose arms resemble iron maces. They are commanders of akṣauhiṇīs, performers of (yajña) sacrifices, and givers of abundant (dakṣiṇā) gifts.
