शृणु तत्पृथिवीपाल मा च शोके मनः कृथाः ।
दिष्टमेतत्पुरा नूनमेवंभावि नराधिप ॥६॥

6. O King (pṛthivīpāla), listen to that, and do not let your mind dwell on sorrow. O ruler of men (narādhipa), this destiny (diṣṭam) was certainly predetermined long ago, it was meant to be this way.
