महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-49, verse-43

तथा चेदिपतेर्भ्राता शरभो भरतर्षभ ।
करकर्षेण सहितस्ताभ्यां वस्तेऽभ्ययुञ्जत ॥४३॥
43. tathā cedipaterbhrātā śarabho bharatarṣabha ,
karakarṣeṇa sahitastābhyāṁ vaste'bhyayuñjata.

karakarṣeṇa sahitaḥ tābhyām vaste abhyayuñjata
43. Similarly, Śarabha, brother of the Cedi ruler, O best of Bharatas, together with Karakarṣa and the people of Vasta, allied themselves with those two (Pāṇḍavas and Vāsudeva).
