महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-49, verse-32

पाञ्चालस्य सुता जज्ञे दैवाच्च स पुनः पुमान् ।
स्त्रीपुंसोः पुरुषव्याघ्र यः स वेद गुणागुणान् ॥३२॥
32. pāñcālasya sutā jajñe daivācca sa punaḥ pumān ,
strīpuṁsoḥ puruṣavyāghra yaḥ sa veda guṇāguṇān.

32. O tiger among men (puruṣavyāghra), the daughter of Pāñcāla was born, and by destiny, that same person (Śikhaṇḍī) became a man again. He knew the merits and demerits of both women and men.
